Mira Murati, the Inventive and brilliant mind behind OpenAI’s landmark project ChatGPT and the CTO of OpenAI.
Mira is a 35 year old United States-based, Albanian-born engineer and a business executive since she was born in Albania in 1988.
Mira leads OpenAI’s research, product and safety teams as as chief technology officer.Â
She has been a key part of the development and launch of its AI models including ChatGPT, the image-generator DALL-E and the latest, GPT-4.

She remained part of leading tech-giants such as ”aerospace”, ”Tesla” and “Leap Motion”, later on developing here interest in AI through Autopilot.
She joined OpenAI in 2018 and she played a pivotal role in launching OpenAI’s groundbreaking product, ChatGPT.
As Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of OpenAI, Mira led research and product development teams for groundbreaking applications including DALL-E and ChatGPT.
She has over a decade of leadership experience at leading tech companies, including Ultraleap. She also led the design and development of the Model X vehicle at Tesla Motors.
In 2018, OpenAI was the nonprofit research lab and it was building its reputation in the field of artificial intelligence when Mira joined it.
“By artificial general intelligence, we usually mean highly autonomous systems that are capable of producing economic output, significant economic output”, Mira expressed her views about AI.

Mira joined the Unlearn that is a San Francisco-based technology company and it is pioneering AI-generated product that forecasts health outcomes for individual patients.
“Unlearn is pioneering both research and deployment of generative AI technologies for healthcare, used today to run more efficient clinical trials and with massive potential for the future of precision medicine,” said Mira.
