The tech giant Google introduces 3D maps for immersive experience of the users in a few cities of USA on experiment basis.
Google has announced to launch 3D maps initially for a few cities however, this feature will be extended up to 15 major cities of the world by the end of 2023.
Google Maps are one of the leading innovation by Google and now it is launching and immersive view for travelers to see their travel routes in 3D view.
The latest 3D view will make it easier and simpler to understand the coordinates and surroundings of the the location one wants to go.

At Google I/O 2023 event, this new amazing feature was announced by Google and this new features is termed as “Immersive View for routes”.
The new immersive view currently shows a 3D view of a certain place along with useful information like weather, traffic congestion.
Apple also provides similar feature named Flyover view however, Google’s immersive view is more detailed and thorough.
By bringing the Immersive View to route planning, one will be able to get a bird’s-eye view to help oneself better in visualizing the landmarks and buildings.
It is reported that Google will also its users to watch traffic simulations to get an idea of traffic congestion and enable to deal with the roads and paths.
By December 2023, Google plans to provide this new feature in 15 cities, including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Paris, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, Amsterdam, Berlin, London, Dublin, Florence, Venice, and Tokyo.

The authorities in Google has also announced that this 3D feature is being introduced initially in a few cities on experimental basis.
It is also announced that the Immersive View for Maps will be launched first on iOS and Android, however the Immersive View for Maps will not be available on Desktops in near feature.
