Elon Musk Creates new AI Company to rival OpenAI as Elon Musk announced his plans to enter in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) market of worth more than US$ 125 billion, globally.
Since, the global AI market is expected to hit US$ 1,591 billion by 2030 with a registered CAGR of 38.1% from 2022 to 2030, Elon Musk has planned to enter this arena.
The boss of world’s leading companies like Twitter, Telsa, StarLink, and SpaceX has announced a new venture and as he has registered a company called ‘X.AI’.

It is reveled that the new subsidiary will be the home of efforts to build new AI based tools similar to ChatGPT that is currently owned by OpenAI.

Musk has been publicly in doubt of the future of artificial intelligence technology in the past and has even called it “risks to society”.
“Recent months have seen AI labs locked in an out-of-control race to develop and deploy ever more powerful digital minds that no one – not even their creators – can understand, predict, or reliably control,” a group of tech experts including Musk said in an open letter, recently.

To accelerate with X.AI, Musk is reported that he is assembling a team of AI experts and researchers as he is discussing with with investors of SpaceX and Tesla about putting money into this new venture.
Since, Musk believes in free speech, the new bot product could have less of a left-wing bias than ChatGPT, which has already been criticised for ‘woke’ responses. As, Musk has also revealed his views on twitter.
In a recent interview with Fox News, Musk warned that “AI is more dangerous than, say, mismanaged aircraft design or production maintenance or bad car production.”
“In the sense that it has the potential — however small one may regard that probability, but it is non-trivial — it has the potential of civilization destruction,” he said.
