Microsoft drops twitter from Social Media suit as Microsoft has decided to drop Twitter from its ad program, social media suit from April 25th.

Now, advertisers who use Microsoft’s media management tool will not be able to access Twitter on their dashboards.

The tech giant ‘Microsoft’ has revealed that its Advertising platform page will no longer support the social network in after a week’s time.

The media management tool by Microsoft is premier tool for advertisers to manage social media based digital Marketing. This tool simplifies for its users to easily take control of their respective social media engagements and interactions.

1. Microsoft’s Announcement

This mega announcement by Microsoft may came Twitter’s recent revelations that users will have to pay to access Twitter’s API.

Twitter also priced this access for the enterprise customers as the cheapest package is announced against the cost USD 42K per month. 

Resources added that in reaction to this Twitter’s announcement, Microsoft has decided to drop Twitter from its media management platform.

However, the users of this media management too will not be able to use it to create, manage or schedule draft tweets, as well as to view past tweets and engagements from now onwards.

Microsoft has also announced that other social media channels, such as “Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram will continue to be available at the platform.

2. Elon Musk Response

Elon Musk has strongly responded to Microsoft’s this decision and has decision to sue the company for this action.

Microsoft drops twitter from Social Media suit and in reaction, “They trained illegally using Twitter data. Lawsuit time,” Elon Musk tweeted.

Musk didn’t explained further that how this illegal trained by twitter data was held by Microsoft as this information is still to be unfolded.

On the other hand, Micorosft is full supporter of ChatGPT that is devloped by OpenAI.

Elon Musk was co-founder of OpenAI when it was initiated in 2015, however, he he distanced himself from the organization in 2018.

Recently, Elon Musk has been publicly criticizing OpenAI’s chatbot and its issues. He has also decided to establish his own AI company ‘X.Ai’ to rival OpenAI and Google.
