Zil Hajj Moon sighted, Eid will be on 29th June in Pakistan since the moon was sighted today in many areas in Pakistan including Lahore and Karachi.

The moon of Zil Hajj 1444 Hijri was sighted today in Pakistan, and the Royat Hilal Committee made the announcement today evening after their meeting in Karachi.

According to the meeting 1st Zil Hajj will be on 20th June and Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated all over Pakistan on 29th June with with full religious fervor.

A meeting of the Royat Hilal Committee was held in Karachi under the chairmanship of Maulana Abdul Khabir, the chairman of the Royat Hilal Committee.

In the meeting, the Meteorological Department and SPARCO officials were also present for assistance while the members also participated.

Apart from this, meetings of zonal committees were held in other areas including Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar.

The Zil-Hajj moon was sighted in various areas including Lahore, Karachi, Bahawalpur, after which the Chairman Rawit Hilal Committee officially announced it and said that Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in Pakistan on June 29.

Chairman Viewing Hilal Committee said that after the testimonies received from all over the country, a unanimous decision has been taken to see the moon of Zil Hajj.
