97,000 Rupees each will be Refunded to Pilgrims

97000 Rupees each will be Refunded to Pilgrims as it is announced by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Pakistan.

It is announced by the Government of Pakistan that 97,000 rupees to each pilgrim will be refunded who performed Hajj under the Haj Saadat Government Scheme.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced on Twitter that it has been decided to return another 12 billion rupees to the pilgrims who performed Hajj under the government scheme.

As a result, refund of 97 thousand rupees per person to every pilgrim going for Hajj under the official Hajj scheme will start from Monday.

22,600 pilgrims who did not get a seat in Mina and did not benefit from the train facility will be refunded an additional amount of Rs.21,000 per person.

Around 18,000 pilgrims staying outside the center in Madinah will be reimbursed an additional amount of Rs 14,000 per person.

It was also added that 63% of the pilgrims were provided with the nearest accommodation in Madinah Munawara.

Similarly, 78% of the pilgrims were provided with the facility of Mushaira train at Mina Arafat.

Tents were provided to 47 percent of pilgrims in Old Muni. 55,000 rupees were returned as sacrifice before Hajj.

The total cost of Hajj from Pakistan was 12,75,000 rupees and according to the hajj 2023 policy, Pakistan, around 200,000 performed Hajj in 2023.



Pakistan has second highest Hajj quota after Indonesia (0.22 million) and India has Hajj quota of 0.175 million in 2023.

From all over the world more than 2 million pilgrims performed the Hajj pilgrimage in 2023.

97000 Rupees each will be Refunded to Pilgrims as the government promised to return any balance amount to he pilgrims this year.

Since around 22000 pilgrims could not get a seat in Mina and could not benefit from the train facility, they will also be refunded an additional amount of Rs.21,000 per person.
