People Bus Service App launched in Karachi and is available for download Android and iOS users.
Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Memon has announced the official launch of People’s Bus Service app on June 22, 2023.
A high-level meeting of Transport Department and NRTC officials was held in Karachi under the chairmanship of Sharjeel Memon.
The Secretary Transport Saleem Rajput, MD Sindh Mass Transit Authority Kamal Dayo and CEO Trans Karachi Tufail Palijo also attended the meeting.

Project Director PSB Soheb Ahmed and People’s Bus Service Operational Manager Abdul Shakoor Arain also attended the meeting.
It was decided in the meeting to connect People Bus Service with the Intelligent Transport System and online system.
The citizens will be able to use the People Bus Service App to find current location of a bus. Consumers can also file their complaints directly to the authorities.
Additionally, the passengers will be able to do online booking, find route, find fare, and read other related and necessary information.
Intelligent Transport System, will monitor the vehicles, since CCTV cameras will be installed in the buses. The buses will also be furnished with USB port, Wi-Fi, communication system, and driver alarms.
The minister also announced that charging issue of the green electric busses will be resolved on priority. He also declared that 20 green buses will be added to the pool of People Bus Service by 20th August, this year.

Momon emphasized that the provincial government of Sindh aims to provide a quality, safe and comfortable bus service to its citizens.
He also added that the government is well aware of the travelling issues and problems of the masses the government is keen to solve these problems, as well.
The provincial minister added that this bus service will be connected to Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana, Sakhar and other cities in the near future.
