According to the survey, 89 percent users of solar systems and green net metering are fully aware of the solar apparatus and working of the solar system.
The majority of the customers were satisfied with the solar system installation process. Only 12% customers are not happy due to various reasons.
47% customers very satisfied and 41% were very satisfied with the installation process of the solar panel system.
As, 6% were not happy due to delay in installation even in case of full payment, 3% were not satisfied with the delay in net-metering approval and installation.
80% customers got installed the solar panels from 2019 to 2021. 60% users don’t have battery assisted system. 34% of the customers installed the solar system of at least 10 KVA.

On average, it took 13 weeks or more for approval and installation of net-metering connection.
Majority of the users having net-metering connection disclosed about the unnecessary office delays while processing the application of net-metering connection.
88% customers are very satisfied with the performance of the solar panel system. Similarly, 80% customers are happy with the performance of the solar systems in terms of financial aspect.
83% users of solar panel systems were happy in terms of savings on electricity bills. Majority of the customers and users are not ready to compromise on the quality of the solar panels.
After installing the solar panels, 66% users were still conscious about usage of the electricity.
47% customers said that they check electricity bills after a month or so to find number of units produced and number of units consumed and the balance of the units in terms of net-metering.
Similarly, 43% customers said that they weekly check electricity bills to find number of units produced and number of units consumed and the balance of the units in terms of net-metering.
58 percent of the users said that they will strongly recommend installation of solar panels to their friends, family, neighbors and other people.
81% of the users said that they are not willing to compromise on the quality of the solar panels in terms of saving money. They prefer quality solar panels even if it costs more to them.
