National Hockey Team reached India since Government of Pakistan issued NoC to the National Hockey Team to fly for India.
The Pakistan national hockey team has already reached Chennai, India to participate in the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy.
The 2023 Men’s Asian Champions Trophy is the the seventh edition of the Men’s Asian Champions Trophy that is going to be held in India.
This is the first ever edition of Men’s Asian Hockey Champions Trophy that is being organized in India.

The previous six event had been held in Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Pakistan and China.
The national hockey team will represent Pakistan in the Asian event under the leadership of Umar Bhatta.
Pakistan’s 18-member team is accompanied by 7 officials Rehan Butt, Muhammad Saqlain, Dilawar Bhatti, Haseem Khan, analyst Abuzar, manager Umar Sabir and Saeed Khan as observers.
The team physio is not made part of the squad, physio services will be taken from a local physio.
Asian Hockey Champions Trophy will be played from August 3 to August 12 in Chennai, 6 countries including Pakistan are participating in this event.

Pakistan will play its first match in the event against Malaysia on August 3, second match against Korea on August 4, third match against Japan on August 6, fourth match against China on August 7 and fifth match against traditional rival India on August 9.
