COVID-19 cases rise since the last week

COVID-19 cases rise in Islamabad as the new COVID-19 patients were admitted in PIMS hospital, Islamabad.

The positivity rate exceeds than 4% in the capital city Islamabad that resulted in a continuous rise in COVID-19 cases cases, district health officials said on Sunday.

The National Institute of Health (NIH) said 48 people were found infected with the virus following diagnostic tests on 1,135 samples.

Meanwhile, the COVID-19 positivity remained above the 1% mark for the second consecutive day in Pakistan amid a slight rise in the fresh cases, NIH data showed.

As many as 152 diagnostic tests came out positive during testing of 11,663 samples across the country in the last 24 hours, taking the COVID-19 positivity ratio to 1.3%.

WHO has issued a long list of precautionary measures and treatment options for the cure of COVID-19 pendamic.

Since the COVID-19 cases rise in Islamabad has also an alarming situation for other nearby cities of Pakistan like Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Lahore.

There is no approved medication of COVID-19 serious patients however, Paxlovid is being recommended by the physicians to the COVID-19 patient and its is giving better results.

Moreover, 55 patients infected with the virus are in critical condition. US has recently approved Moderna for the children’s as a suitable COVID-19 vaccine.
