ASUS launches ROG Ally gaming handheld device as earlier this month, Asus has world-wide unveiled its new handheld gaming device named ‘ROG Ally’.
This new stir in the gaming realm is a windows based device that has a lot of unique features and capabilities to compete.
The ROG Ally is a new Windows 11 based gaming handheld device and a very good competitor to its counterpart Steam Deck.
Asus is now living up to tis expectations and quality standards and has announced that the ROG Ally will see a worldwide release in the near future.
ROG Ally is a wonderful device that has very good resolution display with a Zen 4 and a custom AMD Ryzen APU based on RDNA 3. Resources reveal that ASUS’s ROG Ally will be a better the Steam Deck and will feature more than double the performance.

ROG Alloy is based on Windows 11 and it offers compatibility and flexibility. It runs games from various sources and platforms. On the other side, Windows 11 needs more resources and updates, which can affect the performance and battery life of the device.
The ROG Ally has a Nintendo Switch, two analogue sticks, a D-pad, a four face and shoulder buttons, and two triggers. It also has a headphone jack, a microSD card slot, a USB-C port, and front-facing speakers.
Asus’s new device will feature ROG XG Mobile eGPU solution having a custom AMD APU with rumoured Zen 3 CPU cores and an RDNA 3-based iGPU.
1. ROG Ally vs Steam Deck
In a later video by Linus Tech Tips, he confirmed the Ally to have an RDNA 3 and Zen 4-based APU instead of a Zen 3-based one, as was speculated by ETA prime.
