Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan left his fans for 26 years now and today is the death anniversary of the music legend of South Asia.

On 16 August 1997, Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, the uncrowned king of music, left this world and his fans.

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was a famous musician equally popular in Pakistan and India, and he is still famous and popular for his melodious compositions even after 26 years of his death.

was born on October 13, 1948 in a Qawwal family in Faisalabad, learned the art of Qawwali at the age of 16.

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was well known as “Shehnshah -e- Qawwali” as he was king of Qawwali art and he also sang ghazals, classical and Sufi songs.
