“Light up the Future” project initiated by Panasonic to provide electricity for health and education in more than 30 countries all over the world by using its world-famous renewable energy technology.

Under this project “”, Panasonic has already donated > 100,000 units to deserving people especially in people in Asia and Africa. 

Poverty is more than a lack of #purchasing power—it is a multidimensional #issue that includes lack of access to basic #infrastructure services, such as electricity.

Today, an estimated 660 million people in Asia, Africa and elsewhere still lack access to electricity. Light Up The Future by Panasonic has helped the people in progressive countries to use renewable energy based light lamps.

Panasonic uses its Renewable Energy technology to provide lighting/electricity to communities, creating opportunities for education and health and realize a society without poverty.

Its LIGHT UP THE FUTURE project #donated > 100,000 units to communities in 30+ countries around the globe.

After an appeal by Uganda’s Minister of State, Panasonic took an initiative to to replace traditional dangerous kerosene lamps with electric light lamps supported by the renewable energy.

Under this project, between 2013 and 2018, Panasonic has already donated 100,000 solar lanterns to communities in 30 countries in Asia and Africa.

Such renewable energy based light lamps not only eliminated health issues but also reduced the danger of fire and CO2. Light Up The Future by Panasonic is world-wide appreciated project.

The basic objective of this project was to provide free electric lighting for more time to study, medical treatment at night, and night-time handicraft work.
