3-Day Internet Blackout causes loss of Billions in Pakistan as internet services and social media platforms were blemished from 9th May to 11th May.

The internet has been partially restored today and still various social media services are down in various parts of the country.

This blackout has seriously hit the Pakistan’s meek economy and the economy that is further goring to be meeker in the coming days.

Due to complete blockage of social media such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube the information and communication systems were got paralysed.

The bleached supply of internet seriously hit the online and work-from-home platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, etc. The freelancer community in Pakistan was most affected by this unwanted blackout.

It is reported by the sources that this black out has caused a huge loss in online businesses more than Rs.25 billion.

Pakistan netizens have faced complete information blackout in the last three days as around 125 million people were seriously affected by the government’s decision to blackout internet and  to social media apps.

The masses have shown their serious concerns over such information and internet blackout in this modern age.

The mobile users all over Pakistan have reported difficulty in using social apps including YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

However, the PTA spokesperson Malahat Obaid denied this fact that any social media apps were blocked by the telecom authority.

3-Day Internet Blackout causes loss of Billions in Pakistan will further suffer Pakistan economy as in June, 2023 Pakistan has to return an huge amount of loan.
