2200 years old Statue of Alexander the Great located in Egypt.
The Ministry of Antiquities in Egypt recently discovered a statue of Alexander the Great inside an ancient residential and commercial archeology site in Alexandria.
The historians and archeologists believe that this statue is way back from 2200 year and it belongs to the last royal period of ancient Egypt.

According to media reports, a statue of Alexander the Great is also discovered in addition to molds for the statue and a few pieces of equipment for making amulets for the warriors.
The Secretary General of the Ministry, Mustafa Waziri, said that the aforementioned area of Alexandria, which has been named ‘Al-Shatbi’, also has a large network of pink-painted tunnel-shaped tanks to store rain, floods and groundwater.
He also provided information about the layout of the ancient town, aforementioned that it also had a main road and several branch roads which were all connected by a well managed sanitation network.
The minister also told that the area was active from the 2nd century BC to the 4th century AD.
