The 15th National Assembly of Pakistan will be dissolved today

As a result of the general elections of 25 July 2018, the 15th National Assembly of Pakistan, which started on 13 August 2018, will be dissolved today.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Shareef has announced that he will send the summary to dissolve the National Assembly to the president of Pakistan, today.

The 15th National Assembly of Pakistan cam into existence on August 13, 2018 after the general elections held on July 25, 2018.

The 15 National Assembly elected a President, two Prime Ministers, two Speakers and two Deputy Speakers.

Another important thing about this 15th National Assembly was that this assembly removed Prime Minister Imran Khan from office after a no-confidence motion.

In August 2018, Imran Khan was elected as the Prime Minister of Pakistan from this 15th National Assembly.

However, the relationship between Leader of the House Imran Khan and Leader of Opposition Shahbaz Sharif in the National Assembly were not on the good side.

However, in March 2022, out of 158 members in the National Assembly of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf, a forward block of 20 members was formed.

The no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan was made successful in April 2022.

The National Assembly elected Shehbaz Sharif as the new Prime Minister on April 11.
