No threat to Imran Khan's life says Rana Sana Ullah

There is no No report of attack on Imran Khan said by the interior minister Rana Sanaullah “When big leaders are attacked, the whole country suffers,” Sanaullah said while speaking to a private news channel.

“Imran Khan still has the same level of security today than when he was the prime minister.”, said the Interior Minister.

Moreover, Sanaullah said that No report of attack on Imran Khan and accused Khan of his intention to divide the nation. He said that if his May 25 “Azadi March” had been successful, there would have been mass murdering across the country. 

The interior minister pointed out that Khan should be arrested and charged; however, a case of insurrection against the PTI chairman will have to be registered with the permission of the Cabinet.

Sanaullah said that all the coalited parties agreed with one mind that talks should be held with the banned TTP.

However, he outlawed extra-constitutional demands in consideration of the attack on the Army Public School, when over a hundred people, mostly children, were killed in 2014.

“The military and political leadership agree that the Taliban will not be allowed to bring weapons,” Sanaullah said, adding that “the military leadership has assured us that we are strong enough to overpower them.”

The armistice will be effective until the issue is resolved, he said.

He further mentioned that if the talks with the Taliban are looking promising, then it should be discussed in the parliament as well.

There are many forces behind the banned TTP that want to disturb the nation’s peace, Sanaullah said.
