25% to 35% increase in Pays for Government Employees in Budget 2023-24

Government employees get 25% to 35% salary rise as federal cabinet has agreed to increase the Salary for the federal government employees up to 35%.

The increase in salary was declared by the government of Pakistan in the annual budget 2023-24 announced today.

The federal cabinet has approved the budget worth 14.6 trillion rupees for the fiscal year 2023-24.

This new fiscal year budget has a deficit of 6 thousand billion rupees. In this budget, the minimum wage is approved as 32 thousand rupees.

In a meeting of the federal cabinet, the budget for the new financial year was approved today.

The Finance Minister Ishaq Dar briefed the cabinet about the new budget.

It is proposed in the new budget that the salaries of the government employees from scale 1-16 will be increase by 35%.

In the budget speech, it has been proposed to increase the minimum wage in Islamabad from 25 thousand to 30 thousand rupees.

A 35% increase in the salaries of the government employees from grade one to 16 has been proposed in the new budget.

However, 25% increase in the salaries of employees from grades 17 to 22 have been proposed.

The cabinet has also approved a 17.5% increase in the pension of the retired employees of the government.

Government Employees get 25% to 35% Salary Rise and it will be a relief for the employees as they are facing huge inflation rise for last one years or so.
