Google Scholarship for Graduate Students 2023 are announced and the deadline of application is mid may, 2023
These scholarships are specifically for women named Generation Google Scholarship ad women in computer science can apply for it.
This scholarship was established to support students doing the computer science degrees and help them in becoming a leaders in the field.
The selected students will receive $2,500 USD for the academic year 2023-2024.
Technically, this scholarship is awarded on the basis of strength of each candidate’s commitment to equity, diversity, demonstrated leadership abilities, and notable academic performance.
The program is open to students who meet all the minimum qualifications and we strongly encourage women interested in computer science to apply.
1. Who can apply?
The applicants must fulfill the following criteria to apply for Google scholarships:
- Be currently enrolled as a full-time 2nd or 3rd year undergrad student at an accredited university for the 2022-2023 academic year.
- Willing to continue a full-time Bachelors program at an accredited university for the 2023-2024 academic year in one of the eligible Asia Pacific countries (list given below).
- should be student of a program such as computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related discipline
- have a strong academic record
- have leadership skills and demonstrated passion for representation in the field of computer science and technology
- to participate in the Google’s Online Challenge that will assess for coding skills
Eligible Asia Pacific countries:
- Australia
- New Zealand
- Pakistan
- India
- Taiwan
- Southeast Asia+: Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam
2. Scholarship Application process
The intended candidates for the Google Scholarship for Graduate Student 2023 need to complete an online application with the following information:
- General background information (such as contact information and personal details)
- Resume/CV
- Academic transcripts from your current institution
- Responses to short answer essay questions (questions will be available)
- Google Online Challenge (invitation to the challenge will be sent 5-7 working days post application deadline)
