Constitution Mobile App Launched by Pakistan

Constitution Mobile App Launched by Pakistan today in Islamabad in a ceremony chaired by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Shehbaz Sharif.

Government of Pakistan has launched this app to make online constitution of 1973 to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the constitution of Pakistan.

The PM said that it is a great moment that now the constitution will be accessed through a mobile application. He also said that his app will provide awareness of constitution to the youth and citizens of Pakistan.

This constitution was approved in 1973 by the former PM Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and rest of the political leadership and it was a gift to the masses of Pakistan.

The “Constitution Mobile App” has been developed by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

NADRA played a key role in designing and development, and preparation of this mobile app.

PM also added that the entire nation and all the institutions of Pakistan will have to be united to protect the constitution of Pakistan.

He also revealed that the government of Pakistan is ready to sacrifice its political capital to save the state.

In her remarks, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said we have achieved an important milestone of incorporating the constitution in curriculum for awareness of youth of the country. She said it will become part of the curriculum by next year.

A representative of the government said that the purpose of launching this App is to guide and assist youth so that they may be able to access to all articles and chapters of the constitution.

Constitution Mobile App Launched by Pakistan and it is also acclaimed that the app will be available in both mediums: Urdu and English.  

The Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Constitution of Pakistan are going on thus year on completion of 50 years of constitution approval and launching of this app is a part of these celebrations.

It is pertinent to mention that oratory competitions were also held all across educational institutions of the country to celebrate golden jubilee of the constitution. The title of the competition was “Mera Aien Meri Azadion Ki Zamanat”.

One Constitution Chair has been established in one of university of the each province to pave way for research on the constitution. Commemorative coins and postal stamps have also been issued in the regard.
