Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan is Anwar Ul Haq Kakar as the name has been announced after consultation between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and opposition leader Raja Riaz.
After 3-days of consultation between former Prime Minister and opposition leader, the name of caretaker prime minister of Pakistan has been announced.
According to sources, the second round of consultation on the name of caretaker prime minister was held between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and opposition leader Raja Riaz.

In this regard, Leader of the Opposition Raja Riaz reached the Prime Minister House today where he met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and a consultation was held between the two regarding the name of the Caretaker Prime Minister.
The final consultation process between the prime minister and the opposition leader regarding the appointment of the caretaker prime minister was successfully completed, according to which the name of Anwarul Haq Kakar as the caretaker prime minister was agreed upon.
Later, the Prime Minister and the Opposition Leader jointly signed the advice and sent it to the President of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister thanked the Leader of the Opposition for his cooperation in the consultation process and for playing the role of the best Leader of the Opposition during the last 16 months.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif while talking to media representatives said that the decision on the name of caretaker prime minister is likely to be taken today. He said that there is 8 days time to appoint caretaker prime minister.
