PTV has launched a new streaming app named PTVFLIX to watch your favourite dramas and tv shows. The app is available for download on Google Playstore.
The viewers and fans of PTV can now enjoy a viewing experience on PTV’s new platform FLIX. The FLIX app will provide unlimited streaming of popular and world-famous TV shows, drama, music, and documentaries.
PTV will also online the classic archives of golden years of PTV that defines an era of quality family entertainment presented by Pakistan Television.
PTVFLIX provides live streaming of PTV Network Channels as well as a comprehensive rundown of the latest sports events and news stories.

The ministry for Information and Broadcasting has recently launched two Pakistan Television Corporation’s projects; Film Logo and PTVFlix.
The Government of Pakistan is serious in promoting the art, media and filmmaking in the youth of Pakistan.
The PTVFlix project aims to make online the Pakistan Television dramas and tv shows for its viewers. PTV aims to archive content available online for viewers in particular for the viewers living abroad.
The Government of Pakistan has acclaimed that all feasible measures will be taken to revive the film industry in Pakistan.
The current government intends to support all the stakeholders to solve the film industry’s issue and difficulties. Goverment official reiterated that they understand the film medium as it is a powerful way to communicate a message.
It was told that film industry of Pakistan needs reforms and improvements that may have long-term impact.
“In 2018, we not only formulated the film policy but for the first time we engaged the film and culture sector in it,” Maryam Aurangzeb said.
She also added that the first ever film policy featured tax benefits for the film business as well as infrastructural incentives for cinemas. Now government is serious to implement that policy.
