Hypnosis Therapy – An art of mind control also called Hypnotism (ہپناٹزم – توجہ سے نیند لانے کا عمل) is a condition of person who is in state of deep relaxation and focused concentration.

Hypnosis is a changed state of awareness and increased relaxation that allows for improved focus and concentration. It also is called hypnotherapy.

In hypnosis therapy, experts do apply various techniques for inducing a state of calmness on the subject and ultimately they get control of the mind of the subject.

Typically, hypnosis is used to help people relax, or to provide relief from pain, or to facilitate some desired behavioral change.

History of Hypnotism

Hypnosis is as ancient art as civilization and it is a type of a therapy called mind-body medicine that is really useful in solacing and pacifying a person’s mind.

Historically, hypnosis was used for religious and healing purposes. However, the ability to hypnotize was considered to be supernatural power.

In the 18th century, it was understood that hypnosis is a science.

One of the serious medical application of hypnotism was acclaimed in World Wars I and II when hypnotism was used to treat the shell-shocked soldiers to solace their minds and make them feeling better.

  7. Typically, the subject will not have amnesia as the subject will remember most of the things happened during the spell.
  8. One cannot be hypnotized against his/her will.
